Field Visit – Taipei International Art Fair(ART TAIPEI)

In conjunction with the practical course on industrial information and media application, this field visit teaching activity mainly focuses on industries with different scales and business types, such as long-term care in the service industry, cultural and creative coffee house, and art brokerage. This activity also invites industry teachers to share and guide students in practical experience.

The first stop of the students’ visit was the exhibition area of Hualien’s Yipi Gallery. Through the visit to the exhibition area of Yipi Gallery led by the industry teacher Ya-Ling Chen and sharing the current situation and challenges of the art economy industry for the students, and sharing the rich experience of exhibiting and art agents in the actual operation of the Yipi Gallery for many years, the students could not only listen to the most vivid and authentic business philosophy of the industry at the Taipei Art Fair, but also be able to fully understand the special service industry that is not discussed much in the textbook through the familiarity of the industry teacher with the artist and the art market before the real art creation.

Wei-Ting Jiang, a third-year student from the Department of National Management who participated in this event, said: “I have benefited a lot from participating in this ART TAIPEI exhibition, and I have a feeling of finding myself. I have enjoyed watching these works of art since before. After watching When working on these works, it is natural to feel that time slows down; it is natural to empty the mind; it is natural to clear up the thoughts. I really like the feeling of talking to the artist through these paintings and artworks.”

Using paintings and artworks as a medium, I can see the current status and potential or challenges of the art economy industry, talk and collide with workers in the industry, and fully understand and understand how to apply what you have learned and what you are not enough.
