Congratulations! The ISM students for winning first place in Tzu Chi University’s Entrepreneurship Competition.

Congratulations to AMARAWADEE KARERAM, second year student , Jin-Der Xie, Cong-Yu Huang, third students of the International Service Industry Management Department, who won the first prize for “Royal Service” in the third Tzu Chi University Entrepreneurship Competition. The advisors are Assistant Professor Konstatin Weicht and Assistant Professor I-Ting Chen.

“Royal Service” operates an on-campus coffee shop, hoping to provide students on-campus with richer and more meaningful meals and to break students’ stereotypes of “vegetable food”. This competition invites experts from industry, government, and academia, including youths from the Hualien County Government Liang-Zhen Ming, CEO of Development Center, Co-Founder of Kanglin Living Han-Tzu Kang, Founder and CEO of Shixu Cultural Creativity Co., Ltd. Lu-You Zhong, Director Yun-Zhi Jiang of Tzu Chi University General Education Center, and Bo-Fu Lin, alumnus of Tzu Chi University’s environmental and agricultural regeneration entrepreneurial team in 2020. The five judges jointly selected and evaluated the projects based on “innovation”, “public welfare”, “feasibility”, “development”, and “presentation skills”. In addition to receiving a certificate of merit, the selected team will also receive an entrepreneurial bonus.
Students from International Service Industry Management Department are welcome to form a team to participate in the competition and create your own youth entrepreneurial dream together.
